Existe um padrão que se repete em quase todo cultivo em substrato inerte. As duas primeiras semanas correm bem, a planta parte firme, e por volta da terceira semana as folhas mais velhas começam a clarear entre as nervuras. O cultivador mexe na luz, mexe na rega, revisa o EC (condutividade elétrica da solução) e não encontra nada errado. O que faltou foi cálcio e magnésio, consumidos em velocidade maior do que a solução base repunha.

Por que a falta aparece justo em coco e hidroponia
A fibra de coco não é um substrato neutro do ponto de vista químico. Ela tem capacidade de troca catiônica alta e chega a competir com a raiz pelos íons de cálcio e magnésio nas primeiras semanas, prendendo parte do que você aplicou. Em lã de rocha e em sistemas puramente hidropônicos o problema é outro: não existe reserva nenhuma no meio, então tudo o que a planta usa precisa estar na solução naquele momento.

Quanto mais rápido a planta constrói tecido novo, mais cálcio ela pede para estruturar parede celular, e mais magnésio consome como átomo central da molécula de clorofila. Quelatar é envolver o íon metálico numa molécula orgânica que o protege dessa reação. O EDTA mantém ferro, manganês e zinco disponíveis mesmo com oscilação de pH no reservatório, o que reduz perda por precipitação e dá alguma tolerância a erro de medição. Em cultivo com recirculação, onde a solução fica dias no sistema, isso pesa bastante.
O papel do extrato de algas, das vitaminas e dos aminoácidos
A parte mineral resolve a nutrição. O extrato de algas atua em outra frente: fornece compostos orgânicos e precursores que a planta aproveita em momentos de demanda alta, como transplante, poda e transição para floração. Os aminoácidos entram como blocos prontos para a síntese de proteína, poupando energia que a planta gastaria montando essas moléculas do zero. É um efeito de suporte, não um substituto da nutrição base.
Como aplicar
- Uso corretivo: dilua 2 mL por litro de água assim que identificar o sintoma. Repita após 7 dias se a resposta não for visível nas folhas novas.
- Uso preventivo: 2 mL por litro, uma vez por semana, dentro do cronograma nutricional já existente.
- Ordem de mistura: adicione ao reservatório com água limpa antes dos demais concentrados e homogeneíze bem entre um produto e outro.
- Verificação de pH: obrigatória se você não trabalha com a linha pH Perfect. Meça sempre depois de completar toda a mistura, nunca antes.
- Armazenamento: local fresco, ao abrigo da luz direta. Agite a embalagem antes de cada uso.

- 1 litro: uma estufa em operação, ciclos espaçados, uso predominantemente corretivo. Rende cerca de 500 litros de solução na dose de 2 mL/L.
- 5 litros: dois ou mais ambientes rodando, reservatórios de volume alto, uso preventivo semanal fixo. Rende cerca de 2.500 litros de solução e baixa o custo por litro preparado.
Se o cálcio e magnésio já viraram item fixo do seu cronograma, a conta do 5 litros fecha rápido. É simples.
